    Well its nice to be back bashing the so called leaders of the leftist print/lame stream media.This mornings lead OPED in this mornings New York Times "The Full-Employment Congress" is the title.
    Although I am not a big fan of US.Rep.and GOP Presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Tx) but he does need support when the NYT attacks him.
    The rant begins "Representative Ron Paul’s signature libertarianism takes on a whole new meaning with the disclosure that he has paid more than $300,000 in salaries and fees to his daughter, brother, grandson, daughter’s mother-in-law, granddaughter and grandson-in-law. There is no Congressional ethics rule against employing family members in the pursuit of public service, as the office of Mr. Paul, Texas Republican and presidential candidate, points out.But a new report detailing how the families of more than half of all House members similarly benefited financially from their ties with a lawmaker makes for particularly interesting reading when politicians all over are promising voters: jobs, jobs, jobs."
  All fine and well but why arenot the Democrat lawmakers mentioned oh they conveinently left it out though.With the left wing media at times like the NYT it's not that they don't report the news its also when they leave out the facts and different parts that is just as bad as the liberal bias.
 Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) her  Daughter: Christine Pelosi (former chief of staff for US Rep. John Tierney (D-Ma) my old Congressman from the Massachusett 6th Congressional so hey NYT a little more fact checking before you go to bat for your Demorat buddies.In fact other of Pelosi's family have Government hack jobs her Son: Paul Pelosi Jr. (President of San Francisco's Commission on the Environment) back in her district.
  Here is the rest of the BS rant "Eighty-two lawmakers paid family members through their office payrolls, campaign committees and political-action funds, according to the 346-page report by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics, an independent watchdog group in Washington. Forty-four had relatives who lobbied or worked in government affairs. Twenty members dipped into their campaign coffers to help a relative who ran for office, and 14 made sure they charged interest when they were reimbursed for personal loans that they advanced to their own campaign committees.

A little-noticed House hearing recently admitted that Congress, wallowing in 10 percent approval ratings, was “broken” and needed to be “fixed.” No one said anything about ending the rampant bipartisan nepotism cushioning Capitol Hill careers.

If nothing else, the report is a measure of the creativity quietly at work in Congress when it comes to hearth and home. If only this could be applied to something other than achieving full employment in the halls of the Capitol."

NYT Trying To Pin Point Conservatives

    As the saying goes you cannot teach an old dog new tricks.Stubborn as it is the New York Times this morning in one of their OPEDs is trying to do this by attacking the far right members of the US House.
   The OPED is entitled "A Breach of Trust."What trust one may ask?
   It begins here with their rant "The hard-fought deal that settled last year’s debt-ceiling fight made painfully deep cuts in spending, but it promised one thing: a year’s peace from the destructive Congressional battles that led to threats of government shutdowns and defaults. By signing the pact, Republican and Democratic leaders set spending levels for 2013, putting off further budget wars until after the election.But now a coalition of extreme conservatives in the House wants to break the budget agreement and cut spending below the agreed level, and the House Budget Committee seems willing to go along."
  I love it how the NYT puts it as if they are feeling the pain deep cuts in spending and its always a blame game on the Government shutdown which might be a good thing.Obviously the NYT is making reference to the Tea Party conservatives when they talk about the extreme ones.
  Here comes more of the blaming "Reneging on the agreement would not only endanger vital programs like Head Start, but it would erase the thin residue of trust left in Congress. It would clearly demonstrate that the current House cannot be trusted to live up to its own pledges.When Republicans created the debt-ceiling crisis in August, their principal goal was to cut spending, and they got their wish. By threatening a government default, they forced an agreement, negotiated by Speaker John Boehner, that cut $2.3 trillion from the budget over a decade without a dime of new taxes. That includes more than $800 billion cut from nondefense discretionary spending, in vital areas like education, housing assistance, transportation, public health and veterans benefits."
  Oh My God since when has the NYT ever stood up for Veterans here we go with more of their political game of chess.Cut ENTITLEMENTS SPENDING get lazty Democrat voters off of their collecting asses.
  Here comes more BS excuses on supposedly how cuts would efffect who "That $19 billion cut, on top of the ones already agreed to, could have terrible consequences. Assuming it was applied evenly to all nondefense programs, it would mean that 50,000 children would lose access to Head Start; 20,000 families would lose child-care slots; and 10,500 teachers and their aides would lose their jobs."   
  The children the children the children and bringing in the teachers BOOOOO WHOOOOO!

NYT Uses No Common Sense

  Please correct me if I am wrong but back on the morning of September 11,2001 when our nation was attacked who were the culprits and who was behind these evil vicious events.It was carried out by Islamic Jihadists from a Muslim terrorist group called al-Qaeda hell bent on the destruction of America (and yes you out there on the far left wanting to apologize for America at every turn wake up and get a life) thus hi-jacking a religion id Islam the supposed religion of peace.
 This mornings lead OPED in the New York Times cannot seem to grasp this truth but continue to defend Muslims who hate America.I do want to be honest it is not every Muslim that hates America.
But the title of the Oped "Surveillance, Security and Civil Liberties" lacks alot of Common sense in what the NYPD are trying to do to prevent another attack.
 It begins "Taking office not long after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly wisely decided to beef up the Police Department’s counterterrorism program significantly, to help federal law enforcement agencies avert another disaster.Unfortunately, they did not provide for sufficiently strong supervision of this formidable and far-flung intelligence operation — to check the well-known tendency of all such agencies, operating in secrecy and under murky rules, to abuse their powers. It appears that many thousands of law-abiding Muslim-Americans have paid a real price for that omission. A series of articles by The Associated Press has exposed constitutionally suspect surveillance of Muslims in New York, New Jersey, Long Island and beyond. Unearthed police records noticeably lack any apparent link to suspected criminal activity, or any obvious payoff for public safety."
 Far flung give me a break well I say to those as the NYT puts it "law abiding Muslim Americans" quit bitching about being singled out and accept the fact that it was people from your background that caused this to us all not just you people.It figures that the AP and the NYT are the so called exposers of this BS.

Dossier entries noted vital national security information — like the number of times they prayed.

Last week, The A.P. reported that plainclothes officers from the department’s euphemistically named Demographic Unit fanned out across Newark in 2007, snapping pictures of mosques and Muslim-owned businesses, listening to conversations, and gathering information about the makeup of mosque worshipers for an eerie 60-page internal police report stamped “NYPD Secret.” Similar reports were prepared on other Muslim neighborhoods."

NYT Uses Supreme Court To Pummel Conservatives

  Todays lead oped in this mornings New York Times is an interesting one."Politics and the Supreme Court" is the title.The main point that this oped tries to make is how Conservatives try to use the law to bully their way to get laws passed and a court ruling in their favor.
  It begins "The Supreme Court underscored its power to shape American life when it took major cases about the health care reform law, Arizona’s anti-immigrant law and the Voting Rights Act in an election year. But this is not simply a case of the court thrusting itself into politics.The way these cases developed and made their way to the highest court also illustrates the reverse — how politics shape the court. Each case grows out of a struggle between left and right where politics have pushed the law: between a quest for universal coverage and the defense of big health care providers; between an emphasis on openness and hostility toward immigrants; and between a promise of access to the voting booth made nearly 50 years ago and the unyielding opposition to keeping that promise."
  Let me see universal health care coverage that hardly no American wants which is unconstitutional (for you idiotic leftists Article I Section 8 clause 3) a.k.a "Commerce clause."On Arizona's anti-immigration law it was passed in that state to show the federal government that it was not enforcing the federal law on the books pertaining to immigration and Voting rights act now today all we ask is that people that have an ID to vote can and should have that right as an American.
  Just about half of the way through the oped the NYT starts its whining thus going into attack mode "But the conservative legal battles of our modern times are being waged by the most powerful, often against the weak and oppressed. They began with a carefully planned and successful effort to reshape the courts to be sympathetic to conservative causes. They are largely aimed at narrowing rights, not expanding them — except where property and guns are concerned. And beginning with the Reagan administration, conservatives became impatient with the pace of change brought about from within the mainstream. They sought to remake law into a weapon of aggressive action."
  Talk about being a hypocrite in the worst way ok NYT you want to talk about conservatives going after the weak and oppressed ok what do you call abortion the legal killing of a unborn baby that is the lowest form of power being waged against the weak and oppressed.How about your buddy Obama he's just not trying to fundamentally reshape the court with his two lame brained appointments to the high court but the country as well towards a European style socialist dictatorship.And you have the nerve to mention about a weapon of aggressive action spre me please.

 Excuse me conservative court in what world NYT? Certainly not the US Supreme Court if I remember there are nine justices on the highest court in the land 4 who are to the left including the two alleged according to the NYT and the rest of the left wing media establishment as main stream jurists 4 of them that correctly interpret the US Constitution and one which is called "the swinger" being Justice Anthony Kennedy.So can somebody please tell me how this is a Conservative court?    Talk about a waste of time.The third lead OPED in this mornings leftist crapsheet has nothing better to comment on than the Massachusetts legislature on license plates so baby boomers can profess their alligence to its leftist un-American up bringing.
   The New York Times wrote an OPED this morning dedicated to their buddies in the Massachusetts legislature entitled "Boomer on Board."

        It begins "Many drivers like to pay a little extra to profess their loyalty to causes on their license plates, when a bumper sticker is not enough. Massachusetts, a typical state, has specialty plates for the Red Sox, the Celtics and the Bruins, Cape Cod and its islands, children, fish and wildlife, cancer research, right whales and the “Olympic spirit.”Now the Massachusetts Legislature is considering a bill to create a plate for baby boomers, Americans born between 1946 and 1964, the huge demographic group about whom so much has been said and so much will continue to be said until the last member fades away sometime after midcentury.
The bill, sponsored by Sarah Peake, Democratic representative of Provincetown, would charge $30 for the plates and distribute the money to local Councils on Aging “for the purpose of promoting the health and well-being of seniors in the community.”
       It figures a waste of time leftist like Rep.Peake (D-Provincetown) would introduce a bill as such.How about a plate dedicated to Veterans but of course that would be UNPC for those Baby boomers who hate the thought of going to war God forbid.

 Now the blame game is getting hot.The NYT is not as slick as they thought they once were with their $%^& OPEDS.This mornings lead OPED in the New York Times a perfect example of the shiftiness that goes on with their extreme far left wing editorial board.Entitled "A Growing Gloom for States and Cities" is a waste of time for anyone to read.

 It begins "States and cities had already endured a harrowing three-year financial slide when the debt-ceiling crisis darkened their outlooks even further. In the space of just a few weeks, the Republican-led standoff on spending and taxes brought them a triple dose of bad news: a budget deal that will probably lead to a significant reduction in federal aid; a bond downgrade that could eventually trickle down to the local and state level, making borrowing more expensive; and a stock market plunge that is bleeding state employee pension funds."

 Wait I thought that the Tea Party members of the GOP were to blame now its all of the Republicans correct me if I am wrong but the media trumped it up as if the Tea Party was holding the debt crisis negotiations "hostage" in their own words.

 Hostage I will describe hostage what about Obama's BS health scare plan holding the taxpayers hostage.Hostage 4pending our Grandchildren's $$$ on the %^&* stimulus plan that was supposed to create jobs and move the unemployment rate back down in the 5% range where President Bush had it at when Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrat controlled House said there was a crisis according to the unemployment numbers.That is what I call being held hostage by our Government.

 It continues on ranting "Washington should have been trying to find a way to help states avoid the layoffs and cutbacks that have contributed heavily to the high unemployment rate. Instead, it seems to be doing everything possible to make the situation worse in state capitals around the country."

 Again I thought that Obama's porkulus plan was going to create jobs.Stop $PENDING SPENDING!

 I found it funny too that even in this OPED that I am blogging on this morning that the NYT is calling for cuts.Their idea of cuts would be cutting the military and giving it to illegals or more for the ones who sit on their asses all day.

   This sick joke begins in the usual attack mode "It was not surprising to hear the Republican presidential candidates repeat their tiresome claim that excessive government spending and borrowing were behind Friday’s terrible unemployment report. It was depressing to hear President Obama sound as if he agreed with them."
   It is not surprising to hear the NYT repeat the BS and defend the indefensible about the reasons why we are in the quagmire that we are in economically speaking.Too much $pending is the reason where are the %&* shovel ready jobs Oh wait thats right President Barack HUSSEIN Obama laughed at that one yeah the jokes on us.This is the Hope and Change NOT!
   Here comes more attacks "The Labor Department report showed virtually no job growth in June, with the unemployment level edging up to 9.2 percent from 9.1 percent the month before. It seemed to confirm last month’s indication that the economy had stalled. After the report came out, the president went to the Rose Garden and said he hoped that a conclusion to the current debt-ceiling talks would give businesses “certainty” that the government had its debt and deficit under control, allowing them to start hiring again. Certainty? That sounds like Mitt Romney, or any of the other Republicans who have concocted a phony connection between hiring and government borrowing."
   Debt ceiling STOP SPENDING period!Especially on entitlement spending.Obama hoping I love it keep dreaming.How about the phony baloney that Government spending will rebuild the economy (e.g. the Porkulus a.k.a the aforementioned shovel ready jobs a.k.a Stimulus $pending.)
   It seems that the NYT is still suffering from what is known as BDS (Bush Derrangement Syndrome)

  Even with terrorist master-mind and deceased al-Qeada leader Osama Bin Laden gone the far left STILL don't get it.Just by reading their warped sense some one like me cannot for the life of them understand why the left don't get it.The title of this mornings fourth lead OPED in the New York Times is "Unsung Heroes Who Opposed Torture."

  How soon that they forget that it was (what the left calls torture) that led the raid on his compound

    Bin Laden that is and his eventual much Heralded death by the Obama administraion.

  But here is the NYT's whinny rant "A small gesture can mean a lot. That is the simple but compelling idea animating a drive to gain official honors for the patriots, both civilian and in uniform, who stood up against the Bush administration’s immoral torture policies.The idea of bestowing honors on these heroes was raised in an April 28 Op-Ed article in The Times by Jameel Jaffer of the American Civil Liberties Union and Larry Siems of the PEN American Center. They said that while senior Bush administration officials approved egregious interrogation and detention practices, including torture, there were dissenters throughout the government.

   Those who stayed true to our values and stood up against cruelty are worthy of a wide range of   civilian and military commendations, up to and including the Presidential Medal of Freedom,” they wrote.
    Here we go again accessing the blame to the prior Bush administration which should commended not fawned upon.As far as the ACLU is concerned to the issue of torture they are irrelevant.The Pen American Center I went to their web site at pen.org this is their claim "PEN American Center is the U.S. branch of the world’s oldest international literary and human rights organization. International PEN was founded in 1921 in direct response to the ethnic and national divisions that contributed to the First World War. PEN American Center was founded in 1922 and is the largest of the 144 PEN centers in 101 countries that together compose International PEN." In other words protecting the rights of those on the far far left.Also with the NYT wanting those who opposed torture like say waterboarding should receieve honors and military commendations should be labeled as traitors and charged accordingly.
    NYT cannot let up on the Bush blame game along with their whinny ass rants "After the killing of Osama bin Laden, some — like John Yoo, the Bush Justice Department lawyer who twisted the Constitution and the Geneva Conventions to excuse the inexcusable — argued that waterboarding and other abuses were both proper and necessary.
Ten leading civil liberties and human rights groups, including the A.C.L.U. and Human Rights First, have called on President Obama to honor all who bravely said no when the country veered off course. Recognizing them would not discharge Mr. Obama’s failed duty to find ways to further accountability. But it would be a start."

NYT Could Never Run A Business

   Everyting is always big to those on the left when they purposefully want to denigrate someone or something.In the  lead OPED of this mornings New York Times it is no different "Whose Stimulus?" is the title. It begins "Big businesses are telling Washington that they are willing to do their bit for the economy — if the price is right. Multinational companies say they could repatriate hundreds of billions in foreign profits and pump them into domestic investment and hiring, but only if Congress and the White House agree to cut the tax rate on those profits to 5.25 percent from 35 percent. They call their plan “the next stimulus.” Sounds more like extortion."
   I love it a tax cut for businesses willing to work with the U.S. government is equal to extortion according to the official mouth piece of the left the NYT.
   So the rant goes on it gets even better "In the last five years American businesses have kept abroad more than $1 trillion worth of foreign earnings, according to government data. An article by David Kocieniewski in The Times last week noted that Microsoft has $29 billion offshore, Google has $17 billion and Apple has $12 billion." Oh my God since when is making profits in a nation that embraces CAPITIALISM Oh wait I forget that a company making profits is bad and against the far left's religion of taxing people and companies to death.
   With the NYT it is still blame Bush "The Obama administration should not give in to such corporate coercion. The last time big businesses got such a “tax holiday,” in 2005, companies spent most of the money rewarding their shareholders with stock buybacks and dividends, not in hiring."
    Here is the NYT's diagnosis for healing the economy "Bringing more money home at lower tax rates isn’t going to change that thinking. What these businesses don’t say is that they are already awash in cash. According to Federal Reserve data, companies in the United States have $2 trillion stashed in bank accounts, Treasury securities and other investment-ready assets. And this excludes cash held abroad by their foreign subsidiaries to avoid taxes.
Businesses will always want a tax cut. And they will always justify it as good for hiring and investing, whether or not it is. We remain perplexed by the Obama administration’s decision to consider businesses’ contention that cutting employers’ contributions to payroll taxes will lead to more jobs. It probably won’t — especially if the break is not specifically tied to new hiring.
The faltering economy needs real stimulus, like extending the payroll tax cut for workers until the end of next year. That would put money directly in the pockets of American workers and stimulate consumption. Investing in infrastructure would also help."
   If I were a business owner it sure as heck would change my thinking as far as lowering tax rates.Hey NYT the Government is more "awash" as you all put it in cash than businesses WAKE UP!
   No wonder why the NYT is hurting just not because of their slant in media liberal biases but they apparently donot understand the need for businesses to flourish by keeping their earned profits as opposed to their favorite thing Government bailouts and BS Stimuluses that don't work.

NYT Version On Re-Building The Economy

   They still don't get it and they never ever will it seems.The title of their OPED this morning in the New York Times "The Economy and D.C.: Republicans’ Tax-cutting Fantasia."
   The OPED went on "High unemployment numbers may be good for Republicans in the next election, which makes it disturbing that Republican leaders have blocked any discussion of stimulus policies that might succeed in putting people back to work."
   Good for Republicans of high unemployment numbers give me a break!As far as the Stimulus policies that HAVE FAILED BIG TIME! The left still have not learned their lesson.The governmnt needs to stay out of the areas of job creation.
   It gets more interesting "In fact, all job-creating proposals that involve spending money are considered verboten among both parties, because Republicans have cowed Democrats with the argument that the 2009 stimulus bill was an irredeemable failure and the deficit is causing unemployment."
   Um hello 9.1% JOBLESS RATE last month despite the much ballywhood stimulus $pending.
   The non-sensical attacks continued "If Republicans are as deeply concerned about the 13.9 million out-of-work people as they claim to be, they might have offered ideas of their own that have some possibility of creating jobs. Instead, they have been chanting the same tired and discredited mantras the party has offered since the 1980s: huge tax cuts, huge cuts in safety-net spending, the clear-cutting of regulations, and the inevitable balanced-budget amendment."
    What ever happened to the old addage it takes $$$ to make $$$$.Something that our political foes on the left still donot understand.

NYT On John Edwards Indictment

  It looks as if the New York Times are eating one of their own this morning "John Edwards, A Cautionary Tale" is the title of their last OPED.It begins "Self-destruction in politics is painful to watch for voters whose hopes are stirred time and again by the high promises of a compelling candidate. The case of former Senator John Edwards is especially tawdry and disturbing. He was criminally indicted on Friday on charges of misusing hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign donations to keep his mistress and their baby a secret while he pursued the White House in 2008 and protected “his public image as a devoted family man.”
  Yeah Right!LOL a devoted family man well the truth cameout no matter how much the NYT never wanted to mention it until if I remember correctly a tabloid of all things brought it under the microscope.The National Enquirer thus making the NYT and the rest of he left wing aligned media look like the tabloid which has been true all along.Cover ups a part of the Democrat DNA in politics it seems.
  The former Sen.Edwards is ethically and morally challenged as well "Mr. Edwards insists he is innocent: “I did not break the law,” he said on Friday. His lawyers say the $925,000 at issue was an entirely legal gift from two supporters designed to keep the truth not from voters, but from Mr. Edwards’s wife, Elizabeth, who died of cancer in December."Typical condesention of a liberal Democrat.
  This is where it gets good "Either way, it is a sad truth being contested in federal court in Raleigh, N.C. Mr. Edwards could be acquitted, especially considering the fragile state of campaign laws in the frenzied world of big-money American politics. But the woeful courtroom coda to his once flourishing political career can only invite a further slide toward wariness and cynicism for American voters.
Until he became his own nemesis, Mr. Edwards had a storybook career. In 2004, as a freshman senator, he was chosen by John Kerry as his vice presidential running mate on the Democratic ticket. His campaign tales of hardscrabble roots and his populist idealizing were compelling, as were his wife’s political smarts, charm and personal struggle.
All of that made his fall in 2008 all the steeper as he was caught in a cascade of denials and lies and forced to confirm the scandal. NYT Changes Ship But Do They?

                           
  Not only does the New York Times always attempt to spin and BS their brain-dead left wing readers (to them the NYT never fails but we conservatives know differently) now the NYT are no longer buying into their own BS or are they?I think that they print "so much of the news or in their case BS thats fit to  print that the don't know the difference.Talk about being confused.
  The title of their third lead OPED this morning "Mr. Geithner’s Loophole" now they complain about a left wing made policy that caused the financial crisis that led to the Bush led TARP  and the Stimulus overspending when there needed to be none at all.
  Here is an example of their confusion "Until recently, the big threats to the Dodd-Frank financial reform law came from Republican lawmakers, who have vowed to derail it, and from banks and their lobbyists, who are determined to retain the status quo that enriched them so well in the years before, and since, the financial crisis. Now, the Obama Treasury Department has joined their ranks."In other words they are eating their own.
  Oh and for the record it was the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill that got us into this whole mess.The rest of the OPED was about loopholes and excuses for their changing ship.
   

NYT Are Now Experts On Trying Military Prisoners

  Now all of a sudden the New York Times are experts on trying military prisoners which is a joke in itself.Their second lead OPED this morning is "Guantánamo, on Trial" makes the NYT sound even more stupid than they already are.
  They begin their uninformed BS "In bringing justice to those accused of plotting the Sept. 11 attacks, it will never be possible to have military trials at Guantánamo that Americans can be fully proud of, or that the world will see as credible.Still, it seems certain those trials will be held. In a triumph of raw politics over the nation’s security interests, the Obama administration was forced to abandon its effort to try Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and four others in federal court, where these cases belong."
  These cases belong in what is called a Military tribunal not a civilan court where some lamebrained left winger would have sympathy on thes punk terrorists and not pus for the death penalty.
  Here are a couple of reasons why the NYT don't want the tried in a miliatry tribunal "It was announced that they will be tried before a military tribunal at the Guantánamo prison, which President George W. Bush made a symbol of torture and illegal detention."
  Torture and Illegal detention oh yeah like a Koran was flushed down the toilet too NYT.Hey NYT I have a bridge I want to sell you.
  Here is more evidence (after all we are talking about trying military prisoners) that the NYT have no idea about what they are writing about "It was a shocking example of politicians dictating a prosecutorial decision. The result: huge gaps of competency and credibility. Federal courts have a long record of successfully handling complex terrorism cases. These most important of 9/11 trials will take place in a system of questioned legitimacy, operating under untested rules, with no experience in concluding major terrorism trials.Still, there are things that should be done to avoid an utter legal shambles and administer some justice."
  The only justice for these punks is and listen good NYT the D-E-A-T-H P-E-N-A-L-T-Y I know we have to spell it out for those dumb ass liberals to understand.

  The rest of the OPED goes into a ludicrous explanation and breaks down their warped perversion of how the trials should be conducted according to them "NO TAINTED EVIDENCE,ADEQUATE DEFENSE
TRANSPARENCY,LESS SECRECY."
  Just for the record U.S.Attorney General Eric Holder should just butt out of any idea about knowing anything about the military tribunal system.
